Overall suggestions for the IHP Facebook:
        I think that the Facebook page is most relevant now just because most people use Facebook over any other social media site. After looking through the IHP page one thing that I would highly recommend is that there should be more English translations available for those people who cannot read Chinese but may wish to learn more about the museum. I know that because this museum is in Taipei and is talking about early Taiwan history it may not seem useful for translations to be made, but I feel that since Academia Sinica is internationally known for its many research institutions it is important to keep those international individuals’ interest in mind. If Academia Sinica wishes to recruit more international helping hands then it is best that there be less of a language barrier.

        Additionally, for me personally I learn through pictures so I think that in the photo albums section there should be different albums that give a glimpse into the different artifacts and exhibitions to let people know what exactly is shown and to gain their interest. In order to encourage visitors to come you could provide a brief description of the types of things that are within certain collections and its historical context. In addition to that, you could also provide a bit of information about the souvenirs that are available in the gift shop as well.

Brief description about IHP for Facebook:
        Academia Sinica’s Institute of History and Philology introduces all audiences to the impressive history that Taiwan holds. IHP houses many different archeological finds as well as historical artifacts that allow the viewer to be transported to a time before their own in order to understand the historical culture and customs that once were. It is the institute’s hope that after exploring all that there is to see within the museum the viewer will walk away with an insight that they did not possess before.
